This Privacy Policy and Terms of Use explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application. By creating an account and using IsoKings, you agree to the terms outlined in this document. Please read it carefully before proceeding.

1. Information We Collect

  • Date of birth / age (kept private, never displayed publicly)
  • Profile picture / avatar
  • Bio and location (city/neighborhood)
  • Playing style and sports preferences

Location Data

Precise GPS coordinates (latitude/longitude) collected when you set your location or search for nearby courts. This is only collected when you explicitly grant location permission.

User Content

  • Game videos you upload
  • Messages and comments
  • Challenge details and match results
  • Ratings and feedback on other players

Usage Data

Game history, rankings, wins/losses, and interactions with other players (follows, likes, comments).

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide and improve the app experience
  • To display your profile and match you with other players
  • To calculate rankings and competitive ratings
  • To enable messaging and social features
  • To host and serve your video content
  • To provide AI-powered game analysis (optional feature)
  • For analytics and app optimization
  • To verify age-appropriate use of the platform

3. Video Content & Marketing Use

By uploading videos to IsoKings, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, reproduce, display, distribute, and create derivative works from your uploaded video clips for the purposes of:

  • Displaying content within the IsoKings app and platform
  • Marketing and promotional materials for IsoKings, including but not limited to social media posts, advertisements, app store previews, and other promotional content
  • Highlighting gameplay, community highlights, and platform features

If you do not wish your video content to be used for marketing purposes, please do not upload videos to the platform. You may contact us at any time to request removal of your content from marketing materials.

4. Data Sharing

Public Information: Your profile (display name, bio, avatar, location, rankings) is visible to other players within the app. Your age is never displayed publicly.

User-Generated Content: Videos, comments, and messages are shared as you create them; you control visibility through challenge status.

AI Services: Game videos may be sent to Google's AI services for analysis when you request game feedback (optional).

We do not sell your data to third parties for marketing purposes.

5. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on secure cloud servers. We use encryption in transit and implement industry-standard security practices. However, no method of transmission is 100% secure.

Data Retention: We retain your account data as long as your account is active. Upon deletion, most data is removed within 30 days, though backups may persist longer.

6. Your Rights

  • Access your personal information at any time through your profile
  • Request deletion of your account and associated data
  • Disable location sharing by changing app permissions
  • Opt out of analytics through your device settings
  • Contact us to request removal of your content from marketing materials

7. Minor Safety Policy (Under 18)

IsoKings is open to users of all ages, however we take the safety of minors very seriously. The following rules apply to all users under the age of 18:

  • Adult Supervision Required: If you are under 18 years of age, you are required to have a responsible adult present with you at any in-person challenge or match arranged through IsoKings. This is a strict platform requirement and non-negotiable.
  • Minors must have parental or guardian consent to use this platform.
  • Minors should never meet strangers from the app without a parent or guardian present.
  • Parents and guardians are encouraged to review all challenge arrangements made by minors on this platform.

By agreeing to these terms, minors and their guardians acknowledge and accept this requirement.

8. Children's Privacy

This app is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware of such collection, we will delete the data immediately. Users between 13–17 must have parental consent and must be accompanied by an adult at all in-person events.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy occasionally. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date and posting the new policy in the app.
